Laurie has over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality Design industry in multiple positions working on various project types and bringing to ID Studio a unique perspective and understanding of design and hospitality projects. Project experience includes projects with Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Intercontinental Hotels Group and unbranded ‘boutique’ properties in both luxury, upper up-scale, and limited services properties, in both urban and resort locations. Laurie worked her way to Associate with another well-established hospitality architectural/interior design firm. She also spent several years specializing in restaurant design. Laurie has worked for both Marriott International and IHG as a brand representative and on-brand development managing multiple third- party design and architecture firms. As Director of Design with Exclusive Resorts, a luxury vacation club with properties around the world, she continued her management of many notable hospitality design firms. Laurie earned her master’s degree from Colorado State University in 2010 and has been an interior design professor in Denver and Atlanta.
