Holly Stamps | Innvision Design Studio

Holly Stamps, NCIDQ

Senior Director of Design & Business Development

“To create, one must first question everything.”

– Eileen Gray

Holly brings an undeniable passion and infectious laughter to the Studio. Always living life to the fullest, she realized very early on her love of travel, dance, architecture, all things design related and furry creatures. Her mother’s passion for artwork and teaching art truly shaped Holly’s sense of scale and fascination with creation. Whether it is pottery or furniture, the challenge of pushing herself to create something new thrives within her. Traveling with her family early on, she developed an appreciation for learning about new places and the people that shape them. She was enamored of architecture, the creative process and result. She feels her focus shifted to interiors because she believes the interior of a space affects a person’s outlook and sets the background for lifelong memories. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Atlanta and hasn’t looked back.

With over 15 years of hospitality experience in hotels, country clubs, golf clubs and senior living, she strives to make each project unique with its own character and in accordance with its branding, location, and clientele. Her fine attention to detail, excellent project management skills and eagerness to work with others are strong assets to create successful projects. She enjoys the challenge of working closely with the owner, hotel brands and each designer to morph all ideas and guidelines into an amazing project.

As Director of Design and Development, Holly leads the Studio team members both on specific projects and on an individual level. Holly is inspired by Steve Jobs quote, “Management is about persuading people to do things they do not want to do, while leadership is about inspiring people to do things they never thought they could” and pushes the envelope while remaining firmly entrenched. In the conceptual phase of a project, she ignites her teams’ creative fire to design inspired spaces that are both aesthetic and functional. When documenting projects, Holly strives for thorough, well-detailed drawings, and encourages her team to think through each material and component for the best results. Her naturally extroverted personality lends to her success in the development part of her role as she has the innate ability to connect immediately to those she meets.

When she isn’t bringing together the Studio, she enjoys watching her son play sports, hiking with her husband and cuddling with her three dogs. She is hoping to foster just one more!
